Two rolls of film from a family trip to Kidney Pond in Baxter State Park. Just dreamy all around!

Every summer Andy and I set out to the coast, island hopping for a night or five, traveling by sea kayak. In August 2024 we launched and landed from Stonington Harbor, visiting many islands in between.

When I sent four rolls of film from late summer to be developed, it was a bit like Christmas morning getting to see how things turned out - very different than the instant gratification of digital images.

This collection of in-camera double exposures is something I’ve been experimenting with recently. It's a process that can be a little hard to predict: it leads to some happy accidents and many other images that miss the mark.

Andy and I explored Arizona for a month in the spring of 2023. This gallery includes all aspects of our great adventure: backpacking in the Grand Canyon, trail running in Sedona, van lifing and dirt road biking in Patagonia (AZ).

This roll of film shot many years ago holds new meaning in the wake of my mom’s passing.
